Launched out of Linn Pier around 7pm with my son Joe & our friend Darrel, Shot straight out to Black Point, we were set up & fishing just as the moon was rising in the s.e. sky.. We were all dropshotting finesse worms of various colors working the humps & steeper drops between 12 - 30ft, fishing was real slow with only a few small rockies between us until the moon was high in the sky & lighting up the lake when darrel landed the 1st & only 18" Smallmouth of the night, then a few more rockies each & Darrel landed a 22" Pike then a 33" Pike and plenty of rockies, Myself & Joe caught a boat load of rock bass & tied into a few decent fish both could not get them into the boat either getting cut off or fish spitting the hooks.. All fish caught were suspened right at the tops of drop offs coming off the humps.. Not a bad night overall considering the cold front, It was a gorgeous out there and we had the lake to ourselves..
