    Default Shore Fishing

Does anyone know of any shore fishing spots on or near the flowage? I'm looking to kill some time Thursday evening and Friday morning before my fishing partner shows up with the boat. I was thinking about trying below the CC bridge. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

    Thanks

    Hi cjc,

I see a lot of people fish below the 'cc' bridge by the landing. Try working the rip rap on both sides. Another place is the Blueberry bridge on 'cc'. Walk up and down the shore there also. Could fish off the piers at the boat landings. Seems thier would be some decent Bass fishing there. Good luck.

Under the CC bridge, lots of blue gills and smallmouth. mostly small but fun. Right up close in the rocks. My kids use to fish it all the time. Also some crappie in the evening. Some of the docks in the campground also have gills, perch and occasional pike if you can get in there.
