Default Fishing Report for September 7

Sorry I haven't posted a report in a while, musky fishing has been ok lately, not great but we are getting fish in the boat. Were not seeing a lot of follows, the fish we are seeing are eating a bait, only getting a shot or two at a fish each day. All of our action has been on weeds, getting fish on bucktails, but slammer minnow baits have been our hot bait, getting fish on 7" slammers mostly in walleye patterns and also getting some fish on the spider chain on 8" slammers too.

    Good luck,

    Tanner:

Are you using those Slammers as twitch bait or doing more of straight retrieve???

we are twitching them in, giving them about 3 pauses a cast, and one real long pause at the boat, letting it float all the way to the surface, then going into a figure 8. Just like we normally do in later fall, but its working now.
