Can't kick about the fishing this summer. Action for most species has been steady, and when the conditions have been right fishing has been very good.

Largemouth and small mouth bass have been hitting all summer. Largemouths relating mostly to weedy areas and hitting anything from plastic worms to surface baits. Smallmouth have been hanging out near rock humps and shoreline points in the 15' to 30' range.

Walleyes have been mostly weed related although rock structure has been productive at times. Look for rocky areas to become more productive as Fall approaches and water temps start to fall. I have been using nothing but crawlers for the past two months but with water temps starting to drop look for minnows to slowly take over as the bait of choice for walleyes.

Muskies have been a bit tight lipped this summer but again, look for the cooling water temps to get them more actively feeding
