How's the Fishing?

Anything going on up here right now? Crappies starting on any type of pattern? Walleyes moving into current?

Hey Nic,

Area is pretty quiet in general this time of year...kids back to school, playing sports etc....walleyes have been a little scattered with all the wind lately...talked to some people on the weekend picking them up around the 20 foot deep mark, but they said there had to be access to deeper water close by. Just a 20 foot depth in general wasn't the same as having that deeper water access.

Only a few crappies picked up by walleye fisherman...did not have anyone report on targeting them directly. I didnt get out for muskies over the weekend, but saw a couple and caught one on rock structure (reef, point) on Monday night in a few hours of casting.

Good bass fishing for most of the 21 teams in the Morson Bass tourney over the weekend.

When you planning to be here in September? How much company will you have? Would be great get out muskie fishing with for you an afternoon if we arent too busy.
