With water temps still holding in the low 70's there has been some interesting things to note. Most of the active fish whether it is Muskie or Panfish everything has been very shallow normally less than 5 feet.
Muskies have been active in the weeds and hitting small to medium bucktails and spinnerbaits, also have been seeing fish on topwater. Best times have been sunrise-sunset with fish showing up all day. The key to catching these fish is to work your lure just over the weed tops and use a medium retrieve.
Walleye have also been very shallow and active all day. A 1/16th oz Jig and a Fathead minnow have been working the best. Look for weeds and start working your way through them.
Good luck
