I have been back for two weeks now , we had a slow start fishing the first day , we cast for over a hour and a half without a bite , this has never happened . The water temp was 58 so I put it together I cast a top water bait to within a inch of the bank and a big small mouth crushed it, from then on it was game on. We fished for small mouth or the next week and a half . The walleye fishing picked up the second week with many18" , a lot of good eating size the biggest was a fat 29" caught on a hump in 19 feet . I caught a 26" and a 27" with 2 cast one day and on the 5th cast I had a walleye 30"+ snaged in the top fin, what a fish, it got away. I caught 2 ,40" pike and a 39" musky. I took home 32 Jumbo perch , we caught a lot of perch this year. It was a great time at the woods. Keep the small ones and let the big ones go. Brad
