Muskie Bash - Muskie Tournament July 23-24 on Lake St.Clair

For all of you muskie nuts looking for a great Muskie Tournament to fish, this weekend is the 3rd Annual Muskie Bash. This is the best run muskie tournament held on Lake St.Clair hands down. There is a mandatory Captains Meeting Friday night at the St.Clair Shores VFW Hall located on Jefferson Ave between Martin Rd and 11 mile roads. Meeting starts at 6:30pm. Entrance fee is usually $250 per boat and $250 Calcutta. Last year there were over 60 boats and 100% payback to the captains. Top (3) longest fish wins. Any questions please feel free to let me know. Team Treblemaker fished a long hard weekend and managed to boat over 20 muskies in (2) days but could not seem to find the LSC monster we needed to get it done. Congrats to my good friends from Fins & Grins Muskie Charters that were able to find an awesome 54 1/2" muskie and take 1st place honors. They were fishing with Angelo and Phil Garofalo from St.Clair Bait Company and Donato Mongelli from Donatos Custom Lures, way to go Team F&G..!
