Can anyone say if the salmon are in the whalesback area as yet?

I have heard of only TWO salmon being caught there so far this season! Nothing else from Cedar River or the Ford River Can. A handful of fish from Fairport. Best reports so far has been from Manistique, but that's not saying much.

Fishing should be fairly decent there this weekend. We picked up two salmon june 12th at chambers, following weekend we were 0-2 as was another boat out there by us. We could hear 2 boats at whalesback saying they were marking aot,but no takers, hard to tell in cold water whats whitefish and whats salmon, but big hooks. last weekend we were 4-7 off green island, so if there this far south they are all around just need them to get more active. also found alot more big schools of bait this past weekend.
