While water temps are still behind for this time of year, things are getting closer to being "normal". By the end of the afternoon today, surface temperatures were reaching 70 degrees in some areas. Local current flow on the Rib, Eau Claire, and Wisconsin Rivers is close to returning to typical levels as well.

There continues to be a solid morning and evening bite on surface lures such as the Tyrant Crusader, spinnerbaits such as the Tyrant Weed Wrangler, and bucktails such as the Mepps Magnum Musky Killer. Mid-day action has been spotty, but muskies are available to those casting Bulldawgs or Squirrley Jakes along current breaks or structure-laden river channel edges.
