    Default Barker Lake

I usually fish the Chip when I am in Hayward. I was thinking of taking a trip to Barker Lake and fish for muskies. I was wondering if it is worth the trip? Also, how is the landing? Thanks

Barker Lake is a good musky lake, the boat landing is a bit crappy though, very shallow and just gravel. All you have to do out there is fish the shorlines and get up into the river.

    Good luck,

Thank you, would I have any problem with the landing trying to launch a 17 1/2' Alumacraft? Thanks again for answering my questions.

With the water being at normal levels launching shouldn't be a problem, but you might have to get you feet wet getting from shore to your boat, there is no dock there.
