Big Chip Fish Fest

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that the Big Chip fish fest will be this Sunday the 19th-Fathers Day. To enter a fish all you have to do is buy a button for $5.00. The proceeds from the button sales will go toward purchasing extended length Walleyes to stock into the Chippewa Flowage. Also want to remind everyone that the LM Bass keep season starts this Saturday and there is no size limit on LM Bass with a bag limit of 5. I for one will be keeping them to eat. LM Bass taste excellent. All you have to do is remove the red meat down the center of the fillet. That is the lateral line and is cartilage. Remove that and use a good batter and fry in hot oil- very tasty. The Big Chip fish fest is held at The Landing Resort located in the middle of the Chippewa Flowage on highway "CC".at the bridge.
