Hey Herbie,

I was hoping you could fill us in on where the mighty muskies are at in their spawning cycle and what the avid musky fisherman who are headed north for next weekend's opener can expect given the recent weather and upcoming week's forecast.

I realize you haven't been able to specifically target the ski's yet but any information you can provide would be much appreciated.

i figure they are all done and completed some time ago as fish we have caught incidently and or observed have been clean and healthy looking. there has been some activity chasing hooked walleyes,folllowing and hitting pike/bass baits and with the warmer weather and rising water temps i would say maybe just a bit behind last couple years but fish should be moving and caught. weeds need to catch up a bit,that would help location alot.
i am getting alot of reports of fishermen having encounters more and more this last week.
