    Default Memorial Weekend Fishing

    I pretty much concur with Matt's assessment of the weekend bite. Fairly tough. Smallies were biting extremely lightly and you needed to have the right touch along with accuracy to be able to coax them to bite. Had a nice outing though with three generations of one family fishing together at Wild Eagle Lodge. Here are photos of Dan (grandpa) and son Mike. Didn't get one of grandson Matt. Another shot of Uncle Regis with a smallmouth he picked up.

    Good guess but no. It's the Wisconsin River near the Rainbow Flowage.

    Sure does look like the big bend in the channel bout midway between the marina and Watersmeet..
