Bite for smallies n waldos was off yesterday, tried a couple lakes and had little success. On the flip-side of the coin, the muskie bite is doing ok, I believe they're just coming out of their spawning, seemed to be a bit more of a drawn out affair this year due to cool spring water temps. The bait giving best results? The #3 Mepps! Gotta play em' easy because of the tiny hooks but they catch fish. I expect the muskies to "heat up" along with our weather this week, making larger baits more of a target. Water temps yesterday - 59-61.
