Happy Memorial Day! Getting ready for our annual trip up north for our stay at wilson lake. If anybody has been out there this year i'd love to hear what has been (and has not been) working this spring. Love the north woods!!

I was just there last week and the fishing was very very slow. Weed beds were just starting to get going. Only caught 1 Northern in a few hours fishing. Warm day, mid 70's with sunshine. Quite a difference from last year at this time. Fishing was hot (as was the temps), but the cold spring this year has slowed it down.

Just returned from there today, getting the house ready to move up there permanently. YEAH! Put the pontoon in and carried the fishing equipment out and back in without putting anything in the water. Usually by Memorial Day we see a lot of fish in our bay, this weekend none. I suspect the cooler spring has slowed things down a bit. Water temperature was 58 degrees. I suspect things will pick up in another week or so.
