Default water levels across the chain

I have been out fishing the Monona and Waubesa a few times the last two weeks and to me it seems like the lake water levels are down, even lower than last year.

I fish Waubesa the most and it seems like their is a lot of air under the docks where in years past there has been water.

Does any one know if the water level is low and if so what the county is trying to do?

Here's a link to lake levels and summer min/max info.
    http://www.countyofdane.com/lwrd/lan...kelevelpg.aspx

According to to this info, all lakes are above their summer min's, so I doubt the county is going to do anything. It's not a problem as far as they're concerned. Last year, Mendota was above the summer max for almost the entire summer, sometimes by as much as a foot.

You can search for historical level data for a range of dates for each lake. You'll get a level for each day. Pretty handy info.

On a related note, I went through the Tenney Lock for the first time this season and it seemed like water was coming through the dam at a higher than normal rate.
