    Default Fishing Update 5-25-11

Sorry for not posting in a couple weeks. We had a death in the family being my grandmother so last week was pretty crazy with that going on. Here we go!

Fishing the last week or so has been pretty darn good. The last couple of days I've got 7 up to 44" all casting. The lake is coming down good to about 21 feet now. The lake clarity is good on both ends with about 3 foot visiability. The fish are in the bushes holding in shallow water out to 15 feet but have been tight to the bushes is the key. Throw very close is the key to catching! Water temps are 68-71 pretty much all over the lake. The hardest thing right now is the boat ramps but it's not bad at all. Get out and get fishing some big girls are moving right now. 1oz spinnerbaits, Litttle Medussa, Super Stalkers all have produced for me in the last week. Make sure you stop in the shop and check out the rod/reel combos we have great deals. Have a great Holiday weekend hopefully full of big fish! See you on the pond

Default how do you guys fish those medussas?

do you jig them off the bottom or are you reeling them in on a steady retrieve?
also, is there a certain color they prefer?

    thanks,
    chad
