Saturday's weather was less than ideal by a wide margin, but our deciated groups of anglers were not deterred.

Most common reports were of a good walleye bite in the morning in 8-14 feet. Minnows with spinners/jigs were the best presentation. After hearing a similar depth from most of our people, I started to think it was a pretty good pattern. Of course, along came a customer that had been out yesterday and claimed they got all their good walleye action in 23-27 feet.

A 25" was the biggest I heard from our first batch, so we'll expect more and bigger things to come.
