Guided today out on the Chip out of Treelands Resort. We crappie fished today, it was slow starting out, because it was 26 degrees when we got on the water but we got on them. The crappies moved out of there spawning bays with this cold weather, and are staging in the weeds out from these area's. we did get a few in the protected bays with minnows, but most of our fish were caught at the mouth of these bays, and out hot bait was a double A Jig about 2 feet below a 3/4" bobber. Water temps at the end of the day were 58. we kept 38 crappies, all males, the biggest were about 10 inches. Nothing huge today, but it was a lot of fun, and my clients got some fillet's for at home.

Good luck,
