    Default Navionics vs Lakemaster

Looking to buy a lake map chip for my Humminbird. Wondering what people think of Navionics vs Lakemaster. Would be getting the chip for the Northern area. Anybody have thoughts on one vs the other? Appreciate any thoughts.

    Thanks.

I have used navionics on my smart phone and lakemaster on my Humingbird. Both work great.

    chipb:

You really can't go wrong with either chip and in fact I know some that have both... I purchased the Navioics because I got more mapping in the Midwest even though it costs $150-ish. Lakemaster is state selective, thus if you are more inclined to only use WI, then it probably makes more sense to buy it for around $100.

Lakemaster seems to be easier to read, although it would be nice to see the Navionics chip on a 7", 8" or 10" screen. One of them has a whole bunch of mapping features in the Hummingbird, maybe Big Stone can speak to that...
