    Default blue gills?

I'm getting my small boat ready to go catch some Spring blue gills before walleye opener. Anybody have any suggestions as to what lakes are great for catching lots of blue gills? I live in Gladstone and wondering about genes pond or any lakes in Gwinn area or any lakes around me.
    Thanks

Gene's, Groveland. You might even want to try the Esky harbor if you want to fish some day and don't want the drive.

Big Shag Lake near Gwinn. Lots of largemouth and small pike in there as well.

As mentioned before, the Escanaba harbor can be really good, too. Lot closer to home.
