George - thanks so much for posting this. Even with all this detail, I'm new to this so I still have a question.

I'm assuming you have to be a club member to fish in this? The reason I'm asking is that I may have a friend or two who want to be on my boat for the day, but not actually enter the tournament. They would just be there for fun and to help if I'm lucky enough to catch anything. I would not exceed my personal 2 pole limit. Just checking and don't want to cause any confusion early in the morning on Saturday.

If I'm casting, can they still fish also for their personal fun (not tournament) from my boat? Or would there be concerns of someone "switching poles" once a bite is on. Just checking...I know these are friendly-fun...but I don't want to assume anything.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi JB,
You do not have to be a member to fish in the tourneys but everyone in the boat must be registered. Get one of your friends to shell out 20 bucks to fish. Maybe they will catch a fish and become another addict!

Guy: Cost to fish is $20.00, there is no one day fee and no big fish pool. Hope to see you on the water

Just talked with Cathy at Danes Marine. They still have 5 tent spots left ($5.00/person) and a couple RV sites with hookup $25.00/nite. Saturday the weather should be perfect. Sunday...hummm....
