    Default June fishing

I'm wondering how to fish the June drake mayfly hatch. Once the hatch has started, it seems to slow everything down, in my experience, though the rock bass surface feed on the finished mayflys. I guess the fish all have a belly full.

It can slow down. One thing I do is with good elecrtonics is see the hatch happen. If you are fishing in the middle of the hatch early evening or so, you can have a good night of fishing. You have to catch it just right. the may fly larva will come up off the bottom. This can be seen with my Lowrance unit. I wish you luck. Hayward Lakes Jim
