    Default LOTW trip 2/25-2/28

Just returned back from LOTW. We caught about 100-110 saugers(9"-15") and about 24 walleyes. The 3 biggest walleyes of the trip were a 22", 19", 17", the rest of the walleye were between12"-16". When we arrived at the lodge at 6:15am Friday it was -24 degrees. The temp did not get above 0 the first 2 days. Our sleeper shack was in 28' of water out 1.7 miles from Morris Point Resort. The hot bait of the trip was a glow in the dark white 1/16 oz. jig tipped with a whole fathead. We charged the jigs with a light prior to sending them down the holes. All in all a good time .

    Default Good trip

    Thanks for the report DWW,

Sounds like a good time. It's fun to be in below zero weather and stay nice and toasty while you fish. It's unbelieveable how many saugers are in Lake of the woods. They keep things interesting. You guys did super on the Walleyes too. Any Perch or burbots? Post some pictures if you have them.
