    Default March 1st Report

Sorry for the lack of response lately, been busy traveling with sport shows and the bite hasn't been the greatest to report.

With the last week of season coming up(for gamefish), the weather looks good and hopefully the bite will be good too. Walleyes continue to play the guessing game....some days they bite during the middle of the day in thick weeds, some days not at all until after dark....says it all for the entire winter.

The deep lakes still seem to be the most productive over all. Tip ups with shiners/suckers and Jigging Rapalas are the best approach.

Steep breaks and mid lake structures are the top choice

The later days of March will bring some awesome panfish action...looks like we will have some real "late ice" fishing this year...

    Good Luck!
