I know a lot of you got hammered with this latest super storm. You'll be comforted to know it's due to warming. As stated by Al Gore who for some reason, had the nerve to surface again.

Ya I know this doesn't compare to ND or MN, but it was a mess. Daughter works at Wal-Mart for spending money (and to capture all those Wal-Mart people photos), had to pick her up a 9pm last night; real bad, 15% of the time I could not see 5 feet. Still have one lane roads in spots, at least the wind is dieing down. Sun was out and a bit warm this afternoon; deep freeze tonight to -12 F so should take care of that blowing snow issue. Went for more blower gas, snow plow was stuck in one of those big drifts, had to reroute.
I did have the blower in the kitchen this morning, seems it want it's maintenance today, didn't want to blow or stay in gear; was coughing a bit too. She really barks now when you put her in gear.
I am ready for spring. I wonder if the Spoonbills are active in Grove, OK? Sorry Frank but I am ready for soft water. See you in 3 weeks for an Ontario ice fishing trip. Don't tell anyone the spots where John and I will be fishing. I am ready for a 30+ Walleye thru the ice.
We now have ice in the Platte River. Someone took this picture, sent it to me and said Nebraska has hired a Norwegian Ice Breaker to eliminate a backup of ice. Does it look like someone you know?
