Pike fishing is hot right now, a lot of the fish are running small but they are still catching some mid 30" fish. Tip-ups and golden shiners are the most popular way to catch them but some guys are having a ton of fun jigging for them. Crappie and Gill action has picked up. Crappies are schooling in the deep basin areas of the lake and hanging close to the softer bottom. Gills are still being found around deeper wood and cribs. The walleye action is fair with a number of smaller fish being caught. Lake travel is awesome with great ice and very little snow. There is truck traffic on most area lakes but still take caution when driving as conditions can change quickly.

Good Luck
