I have been out the last couple days. On the lakes I was on we had good ice ranging from 9-10". There are some slushy areas that you have to deal with. The fishing has been relativly slow tha last couple outings. The walleye bite has been OK with the evening and an hour or so after dark being the best. We are getting some blue gills and a few crappies on cribs during the day. Small tear drop jigs tipped with wax worms and using electronics has been key. I am going to be out again tonight after walleyes again. I am hoping with the approaching storm that it may spark a good bite. We are expecting 3-6" of more snow tonight.

Good Fishing,
