Well, the little bit of ice we had on small lakes in Northern MN. is not in safe travel condition anymore. About 6-8 inches of wet, heavy, snow fell on 2-3 inches of ice we making ice dangerous to travel on. Over in Superior we had rain so with some cold temps. the river and some lakes in NW WI should be in better condition by December 10th as long as the we don't get the snow sitting on the ice. Over the weekend I heard a report of someone falling through in Kimballs walking. No fish is worth going through the ice, the water will be frozen until March so give it sometime, we have lots of winter left.
