Phillips Area Lakes are froze over and People started to go out just off the shorelines for walleye with Tip-ups last night. Reports of up to 2.5 inches of ice. I wouldn't head out for deep water but the ice should be safe for foot travel in the shallower bays and close to the shore in the next few days.
