    Default 10-23-10 report

    Hi everyone,

Guided Rob and his dad Bob for a half day today. Fishing wasn't real hot, but not terrible either. Caught a Sm. bass on the first cast, so things were looking promising. We wound up catching Walleye, Bass, Crappie, and even a rock bass. We caught everything on jigs and minnows, some on bobber rods, but most jigging.

We spent most of our time jigging, but Rob also got some time to fish Musky's. he threw bulldawgs and huge crank baits, and trailed a sucker along side the boat, but never had any action.

The weather was cool to start with.It was heavy clouds all day with a mild east wind. Then it rained for a couple hours. When the rain stopped, the wind kicked up. Again from the east, and the air temps dropped. It was 48 degrees back at the truck. The water temp was 50 degrees. With this weather, it is finally cooling off.

Thanks Rob. You and your dad are a pleasure to fish with.
I'll be back at it tomorrow. Let you know how I do.
