Thread: Beginning Of Fall Fishing

  1. Default Beginning Of Fall Fishing

With the end of summer behind us I have only been on the water three to four days a week the air and water temperatures are cooling and the amount of fish we have been catching has too cooled for a bit. We are stiil catching between five to ten game fish per four hour trip. They have begun to move into their fall patterns the past week I have seen water temps as high as 78 down to 67 degrees. Most of the Largemouth Bass we have been catching have begun to relate to the shallower inside weed edges and any other remaining green weeds. The Walleye and a few smallmouth to have started to move into the shallows during low lite periods. They have also been relating to where mud flats and mid-lake rocks humps connect and out where the thermocline meets the drop off. As the water cools the fishing will increase their feeding so the catching will only be getting better as the water cools... I'll post a few pics. from the last few weeks as I get some more free time.
