Thread: Stealth Tackle's Hulcano Sucker Harness

Default Stealth Tackle's Hulcano Sucker Harness

With these cool nights and not so warm days, sucker season will be upon us soon.

Just wanted to throw out a reminder to all of those out there that John has been tying up a ton of harnesses for the fall. We now have 3 major players in the sucker harness department.

The Original 1 hook harness, best used for medium sized suckers in the 12-15 inch range

The new (2009) 2 hook harness that John and I came out with that works AWESOME for suckers over 16 inches

And finally the all flouro Hulcano rig that both John and I have had great success with over the past few years with zero failures, this is also one of Jim Saric's (Musky Hunter Mag and Musky Hunter TV) favorite rigs as well. Easy to adjust and super easy to use.

Maybe John can take a pic of each rig and post them as well so you can see them first hand. If you have any questions, just ask and John and I will be glad to help you out.

Actually were running 4 harnesses in our Harness lineup this year. We've been very busy, but ill try to get some photos up this week. Ive actually brought in a live bait specialist to help make some very minor improvements along with refining some fine points on the rigs. All in all same rigs, same applications. I just wanted a few things tweaked for the sake of trying to get closer to perfection and cleaning the rigs up a little.

I will also offer any of our rigs with smaller hooks for anyone who has trouble getting regular or large sized suckers in their areas, which seems to be becoming more and more of a problem each year.

The four rigs we are offering are as follows.

    1. Regular Original Hulcano Harness

    2. Large Hulcano Harness (longer lead wire for use on larger suckers, or if you prefer to place your hook further back)

    3. 2 Hook Hulcano Harness (Second hook added by demand, for people who prefer a 2 hook system)

    4. Stealth Tackle Live Bait Rig (This is our all fluoro Fully Adjustable Rig that the Hulcano Harnesses were developed from. We've had great success with zero failures thru the years, with lots of fish put on these rigs, and decided to make them available for sale)

Like the idea of the smaller hook option.
Fished with suckers in the Hayward area a week ago and all the suckers available were on the smaller size.
Will be going back up in 2 weeks
Definitely have to order a few rigs from you John.
