Fall fishing questions

I will be up on the chip Oct 8th and was wondering if you still night fish at this time of year and throw topwater. Also what retrieve do you have the most success with bulldawgs?

yeah night fishing is good all year! it might be a bit too cold for topwater though. for working bulldawgs I like a pumping retrieve. it makes the bait look like its hopping up and down.
