    Default 9/5/10 Fishing report

Fishing is picking up with the dropping water temps. Fishermen are reporting good catches of Walleye, they are fishing the 10' to 15' drops with jig and fatheads. Reports of panfish in shallow water are still coming in. They are still holding tight to shallow water cover. The Musky fishing is getting hot, musky are holding on weed edges and going on slower loud surface baits like creepers and hawg wobblers. Bobbie Baits and large plastics have also been taking fish.

Pictured is a nice Musky that we put in the boat on a slow moving prop bait a few days ago.

The Gills on cranberry are a little deeper and closer to the main lake basin.
