Can anyone suggest a good place to try for panfish on the Sugar Chain? We will be staying the week of the 14th and would like to put my kids on the fish. I'm also not opposed to hitting another lake. Thanks.

try the stumps on otter lake just before the chanel going to eagle lake have had good luck with the kids there

Good Crappie Action
We had a great week on Dam lake even if the weather pattern was lousy. We caught a lot of nice size crappie at the west end cribs and even caught some walleye and perch. Overall we had a great time and had enough action to keep everyone happy! Except for the cold front that shut down the top water bite it was good fishing.
