Franklin Lake Info

Well, have not posted in some time but coming back over to Eagle River from the Mille Lacs area with the family to camp on Franklin Lake on the 19th and 20th before Musky fishing the chain base camped on Otter Lake on the 21st -23rd, just wondering how the water level is on Franklin and how the camp ground is? bringing the whole family 6 through 2 years old. How is the small mouth fishing and the walleye on Franklin? Have not fished the lake since I was guided by Todd Powell in the late 80's we killed um. Well any info will be great. Thanks!

If I could tell you anything about the specific lake, I would. I've never fished it. All I know for sure is, fishing is pretty slow right now in the Eagle River area unless you are musky hunting. But yes, there is not much traffic or discussion on these boards.
