Got up late on Wednesday morning (July 21). Paul Trinkner from Muskie Bay Resort jumped in the boat with me and we spent the afternoon casting bucktails over rock reefs and any weeds we could find. We managed a little guy and a 40”er--both on #9 Llungen-tails reeled in at fast retrieves. Came in for a delicious chicken dinner and then Jake Trinkner and I headed out for the evening shift. I think the weather might have been too nice as the muskies were content to just lay there in the warm water and not chase baits.
