    Default fishing report 7-25-10

Went out Thursday, eastside 2-7 pm. It was cloudy out with some wind so I headed for some shallow weeds, and humps with wood and weeds. I used jigs& leeches, and a spinner bait with no success. I did see 100+ small mayflys when I got back which may have been part of the reason for the slow bite.
Went out Friday, eastside 4-8pm. I went to fishing in 10-15 fow using jigs. I did have some success, catching bluegill, sm. mouth, and a couple 12" walleyes. For me fishing was tough, especially Thursday with the cloud cover and wind I thought the bite would be better but it didn't happen.

    Default Good report

    Hi JENS,

Thanks for that report. There is so much forage now that it is harder to find the Walleyes. But as we proved on Sat. They can still be coaxed into eating our presentations. I had some success on Sunday as well. I'll be making a report on that shortly. I posted a picture that you took of me holding one of our 16" Walleyes from saturday.
