Hit a new lake today and unfortunately we have no musky success to report. It really was a strange day of weather. We battled tornado warnings, LOTS of lightning, and thunder with torrential downpours from 2:30pm to 8:00pm. We finally pulled the plug after Kris caught two pike (no muskies) and it appeared this weather simply wouldn't push through. The strangest thing was this storm did not appear to be moving at all (clouds weren't moving) and we kept having to run for shelter to shore due to frequent lightning. Blue skies were plainly visible a few miles to the north the whole time indicating we were right on the edge of this nasty weather!
