Chippewa Flowage walleye fishing has been real good the past week. Nearly every time out we've been getting limits of nice 14 to 18 inch eater sized walleyes. Seems like the best fishing is when it's a bit cooler, mornings or days that haven't been so hot. Smallmouth bass are going good too, we got lots of fish up to 19 inches this week. We've been catching a lot of the other fish while walleye fishing too, nice sized bluegills, a few big perch and a nice crappie here and there as well.

Musky action has been streaky, fish are moving at times on and off through out the day but not consistantly. Big Game Twitchbaits, Shumway Flashers, and Bitten Warlocks have boated fish for us recently. Cabbage weeds, and open water nearby have been good locations.

Good luck and good fishing,
Jim Stroede
