Lake Conditions: Water Surface Temp 66-69 degrees. Water Clearity: Good to 4 feet, some algea bloom still occuring in shallow parts of lake. Bug Hatch: Mayflies seem to be done, but small white/tanish bug are hatchin.

Been spending alot of time on the pond, thus the reason for the late report.
Did a TV show last Thursday with Steve Scepaniack from Outdoor Lodgic TV Show. Caught several nice fish on film. Steve primarily a walleye/musky guy I think was impress with Mille Lacs "other fish" Had a ball with Steve and Fish the camera guy. Most of our fish were taken on tubes and spinnerbaits. We also caught a couple bonus 'green' fish ie largemouth bass.
This week noticed the smallmouths are beginning to lock in on their summer pattern of feeding on the rocks. Several fish were coughing up crayfish and some small minnow type fish. Top water bite still has not materialized....should happen soon with right conditions...

Remember if you dont chase em....you wont catch em!
