The fishing is getting more consistent with the relatively stable weather and warm water temperatures. The results from the past few days:
Mon, 7/5: 51"er on a Pacemaker. Awesome!
Tues, 7/6: Only a 36ish (not measured) musky in 18 hours of fishing. Long day. Not awesome
Wed, 7/7: Rest
Thurs, 7/8: 42, 44, 46 all on Spanky Baits Fireball

There still seems to be better than normal topwater action this year. Also, there's been fairly decent action during the daytime hours for this time of year. The bite is usually best at night this time of year, so I've been pleased with the extra action during the day. Water temperatures are 74-76, depending on the location and time of day. The warm water is definitely helping. If we keep getting warm weather, could it be a "normal" year?
