Trip Report July 4th-10th

Hey guys...I am longtime reader/lurker of this board so I thought I would post a quick report.

I just got back on Sunday from fishing out of the Angle. Fished from July 4th-10th. We caught 8 fish 46,46,45,40,39 & 2 @ 37...lost two 48-50" class fish after hooking them on the 8 boatside. We saw somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 fish for the trip. Fish were scattered between rock, weeds and rock/weed combos. We only saw one supertanker 52+ on the trip. Got her to chase a top raider and jackpot but would not eat...tried just about everything in the box for a couple of days on her. Early in the week most of the fish were chasing small crankbaits and bucktails and by the end of the week good numbers raised on topwater. Another great trip overall! Can't wait to go back in Sept.
