    Default Advice

    Greetings!

My brother and I will be staying in Eagle River this next week, from the 8th to the 12th (July), and I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to which lakes to fish. We're not opposed to fishing the smaller lakes since the boat we'll have is a 14ft with only a 25hp. We're really up for catching anything, although we grew up together fishing Walleyes in Superior so it would be awesome to feel that strike again!

The cabin we're staying at is between Watersmeet and Snipe to give you an idea where we're located.

    Default Here's my advice..

    Pelly,

Boot Lake is a good lake for panfish, some northern and some walleye. Muskies are also present on the lake.
Muskellunge Lake is a good lake for crappie and northerns.
If you are up for an adventure, go to the Escanaba Lake registration station and ask them about fishing Nebish, Spruce and Mystery Lakes. I think you will like the adventure and the fishing.

Have fun, and catch and release.

    Default Cisco Chain

Go to Cisco Chain of Lakes, just West of Land O Lakes....14 lakes chained together...dock at Bent's Camp ( $5 in and out). They have maps and you can catch everything there!
