    Default John Mabee Group Catches Nice Walleyes Today

    Well today was a wonderful day with some great guys from Mansfield OH. We headed out to the Turnaround Bouy at the Maumee Shipping Channel in 27 feet of water. We decided to troll and ran 40 jets back 80-85 feet with small stinger spoons in purple demon, sunburst, cat/dog and chartruese J-7's. We ended up with 22 walleyes and it was a tough bite, not many junk fish but the walleyes just had lock jaw.
