Heading back out again today... quick update...

Still very cool weather with, dreary as it may be, more much needed rain throughout the area. Water temps were running 62-63 degrees overall on the Eagle River Chain. We're seeing a lot of fish and putting hooks to quite a few mid-thirties size muskies.

Small baits seem to be the ticket, little bucktails, Rizzo Wizzes, small Suicks, little bulldogs, etc. Even bass size baits! Cool as the water is they seem to be in fairly shallow water, always weedy areas... find the weeds, find the fish.

This coming Sunday evening on RFRG Outdoors Radio we're having ANOTHER "Ask the Guides" show! RFRG Radio listener Jeremy Hopland is still up north visiting from Texas and fielding the questions to RFRG guides, Muskie Matt, Pete Stoltman, Mat Hegy, and Yukon Jack. We had such a great response on last weeks show and didn't have a chance to answer all of Jeremy's questions, so... we're doing it again!

Gotta run, good fishin' to everyone!
