Hit the lake today with Jeff Isom, and we faced east winds, cool temperatures, and rain most of the day. Water temperatures dropped about four degrees with this cold front, and we managed one follow for the day. Jeff also caught a few northerns on a DC-8 bucktail. Weed growth looked super and we noticed a ton of baitfish hanging ten feet down over twenty-five to thirty feet of water. We concentrated on the weed edges in ten to fourteen feet, but next time my efforts will be over deeper water areas attcking these baitfish concentrations. Jeff and I did manage to drown a lot of lures and we had great conversation and he showed me around the lake a bunch! Overall we had a very fun day.
