    Default Mille Lacs report, 6/7

The opener weekend went OK. It wasn't the greatest musky opener of all time, but it was certainly better than the past couple years. The weather was unsettled and there were thunderstorms and post-frontal conditions both days, but at least the water temps were decent. Saturday's fishing produced a bunch of follows and a 42"er. Sunday was a half-day trip in the morning that resulted in a bunch of follows from small fish, five I think.

The average surface temperature observed was 68F with fair water clarity and fishing pressure was pretty light.

After many long months without muskies, it's outstanding to be musky fishing again.

Can you add anything about the spots you were fishing? I know from other replys last year that you won't give exact spot info but you usually at least say some general description. Any help is good.
